Trail Description:

This trail provides a stroll through town, and continues with a mostly gentle hike through a variety of terrains, with sun and shade available in almost equal measure, and normally good views across the countryside and hinterland of Givry.

Trail Itinerary-Reference Points: (Counterclockwise)

Givry: Chemin/R. du Charollois, past elementary school, R. des Bois Chevaux, follow unnamed lanes, cross Chemin de Servoisine, past small pond, (past old quarried rock surface), to Carriere de Givry (new quarry area road); through woods to location called Chaume de Givry; through more woods to location called Les Bouloises; (then, apparently following GR7, down a sloped field of mostly scrub, to the village of Russilly); Russilly: past lane called Le Selle, left into Russilly, past Gonot Christophe, through center of hamlet along the road and the past church, through a wood to Charnaille; Charnaille: R. de Charnaille, R. du Moulin, past Moulin (Mill) de la Chaume Renache; Poncey: Chemin des Berges-R.des Berges, R. des Vignes Rouges, Cortiambles: past St Martin church, R. du Clos Salomon, through vineyards past Clos Saint Paul
